Chapter 8:

"You want us to what?!"  Sokka stared at the younger boy in disbelief.  Had that really just happened?  Had he and his sister, neither of which had ever been more than twenty miles outside of their population of 250 people town just eaten ice cream with a famous recording star, only to have him offer the two of them places in their band? Had that seriously just happened?

"Oh come on Sokka! This is a once in a life time opportunity!"  Katara grabbed her brother's arm, shaking him furiously.

"I know!"  Sokka yelled, trying to steady himself after she let go, dizzy from the shaking.

"So, what'd you guys say?"  Aang asked, a wide, crooked grin spreading across his face.

Katara began to speak, only to have her mouth covered by her older brother's hand.

"We have to ask Gran-Gran first."

Katara only glared, crossing her arms.
