Team Name: Mane 6
Manager: Fancy Pants
Equipment manager: Spike Sparkle
Other support:
Thunder Bolt, mechanic and handipony
Dexter, battle strategist and clerk pony

Twilight Sparkle
Pony type: Unicorn
Colors:
Eye: Violet
Coat: Light purple
Mane & Tail: Blue, streaked with deep purple and pink
Hometown: Unicorn Range
Special talent: Magic, especially telekinesis and summoning
Weapons/fighting style: Star-shaped blades that resemble her Cutie Mark, which she throws at her opponent and can enlarge into a shield. Can use horn for stabbing in close-quarters.
This intelligent unicorn pony is not to be underestimated. She is small, but powerful and will use her non-threatening persona against you. Your best bet is to pit her against another unicorn from your team, preferably someone with magic- blocking spells. Alternatively, somepony with a good handle on smack talk might be able to shake her confidence. Also, if your strategist can figure out a way to throw her off her game early on, you can get in a few blows while she’s still formulating a new plan of attack

Fluttershy
Pony type: Pegasus
Colors:
Eye: Cyan
Coat: Yellow, artificially streaked with teal
Mane & Tail: Pink
Hometown: Cloudsdale
Special talent: “Gentle hoof”, a paralyzing tactic
Weapons/fighting style: Her hoofs and wings, which she uses to flit about and confuse her opponent before touching their nerves to paralyze them. Makes up for speed with agility.
It’s like this team was designed to lull its enemies into a sense of false security. Their heavy hitter is small and non-threatening, and their clandestine member is shy and withdrawn. Don’t let yourself be fooled. She will hand you your flanks on a silver platter if you give her the chance. That gentle hoof technique is something fierce. I suggest somepony out with full battle armor, though that’ll only work for so long as she’s proven adept at removing barding to get vulnerable flesh for her attacks, and she’s so agile it’s hard to get a at her while she’s doing this.

Rarity
Pony type: Unicorn
Colors:
Eye: Azure
Coat: White
Mane & Tail: Deep Purple
Hometown: Ponyville
Special talent: Gems
Weapons/fighting style: Sharpened gems and crystals which she launches at her opponent with telekinesis and uses in her armor and as shields. Prefers long-range combat.
Rarity is the Mane 6’s secondary magic user and geokinetic. Yes, she is beautiful, and she does speak with a Canterlot accent. That doesn’t mean she can be taken lightly. Her skill in geokinesis –the ability to locate, augment, and summon gemstones –is unlike anything I’ve ever seen. She is also quite the smack talker, and will try to throw you through vocal attacks. I suggest a fighter who has proven immune to most verbal lashings, preferably a unicorn geokinetic or former rock farmer.

Pinkie Pie
Pony type: Earth
Colors:
Eye: Light blue
Coat: Light pink
Mane & Tail: Deep pink
Hometown: Galloping Gorge
Special talent: Parties!
Weapons/fighting style: Party cannon, combat confetti, and constricting streamers. Also makes special baked goods like healing tarts and magical combat cupcakes.
First thing you gotta do is accept that Pinkie Pie doesn’t conform to whatever logic you want her to. This pony doesn’t make sense. Once you’ve done that, disarm her early on, concentrating on destroying that infernal cannon of hers. Those cupcakes she makes are infused with earth pony gypsy magic and just because you saw one do one thing, doesn’t mean the next will do the same thing. I suggest a unicorn or an earth pony gypsy that could meet her on her own high ground.

Applejack
Pony type: Earth
Colors:
Eye: Light green
Coat: Orange
Mane & Tail: Light yellow/blonde
Hometown: Ponyville
Special talent: Applebucking & manufacturing of apple grenades
Weapons/fighting style: Lasso, apple grenades, and applebucking, as well as other powerful leg moves that rely on her considerable physical strength
She has got to be the most conventional fighter the Mane 6 has. She’s strong, fast, agile, uses weapons. So you can finally relax, right? Wrong! This pony is definitely the Mane 6’s least tricky member, but she makes up for by being the physically strongest of the bunch. Don’t think you can deploy a unicorn and rid her of her grenades and lasso and win easily. First off: no pony has ever succeeded in taking that rope, and second: even if she is completely disarmed, what are you gonna do about that fearsome kick of hers?

Rainbow Dash
Pony type: Earth
Colors:
Eye: Deep red
Coat: Light cyan
Mane & Tail: Roygbiv
Hometown: Cloudsdale
Special talent: Speed
Weapons/fighting style: Lance, aided by her considerable speed. She slams into her opponent at high speeds to disorientate them, then keeps the hits coming before they can recover.
Rainbow Dash is predictable, yes. She always does the same thing: a head on sky- charge to disorientate her opponent. Then she keeps the hits coming. She doesn’t like giving her opponent time to react before their face hits the dirt. She’s powerful and wicked fast. Ponies think they can use her attack pattern against her, but she’s a good improviser despite her set pattern. Send someone out who’s just as good at strategizing on the fly, preferably someone with a lightning-quick   recovery time.
A strategy guide to taking on the Mane 6 in the Battle Citadel arena.

Rainbow Dash is a Pegasus.
